Moments With The Book

I put an ad in our church bulletin requesting a donation of a truck and driver who would be willing to pick up our Govt Food in York once a month . The very next day,on a Monday, Pam from Waveline Direct called and told us that they wanted to help us with our need,volunteering both the use of the truck and a driver.

My name is Mickey Minnich, a Christian, and I am currently President of Vickie’s Angel Walk, a 501 (c) 3 non profit whose mission is to help families fighting cancer who cannot pay their bills due to the cancer. I have working at Vickie’s Angel Walk full time since September 1, 2007. August 31 was my last day as the Executive Director of 22 years of the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation. I worked closely with Waveline Direct and one of the owners, Vinnie Taylor and her wonderful talented staff for 15 years. VAW will have its 6th Walk this October. Waveline has lead us to victory all 6 years printing all our print media from logo design, brochures, flyers, advertisements, to business cards and stationery.

In both Big 33 and Vickie’s Angel Walk our printed materials had to be the best because we were competing with so many great organizations. Frankly, the printed materials were the best and we received many compliments about their quality. However, a key was the affordability of Waveline and they blew the competition of other printers out of the water. On top of that they are time line oriented with deadlines and go out of their way to help you.

What more can you ask of a company other than pricing, meeting deadlines, helping with designs, layouts of editorial, photo scanning and etc.? What you can ask is what are their motives and where is there hearts? Their motives are to naturally make money and stay in business, but more importantly is to be honorable and to help spread the word of Jesus.
